An NPC walks up to your base and offers to buy a placed plant

Accept the offer

The sale completes and pays out — straight cash in some deals, item trades like a mystery seed pack in others. Take it when the payout beats what the plant would earn sitting there.

Decline the offer

No sale happens and your plant stays put. There's no penalty, so freely reject lowball bids — one player turned down 16,000 cash for a rare plant.

A visitor shows up but makes no offer (like the 'fake inspector')

Not every visitor is a buyer — the game visibly labels fakes, so judge visitors by their actual offer.
